Farewell Avalon 0.2: Messhall Mayhem Update is out!

After several months in development, a few public playtest showcases, and some major polishing, Farewell Avalon's largest update yet is finally released!

Messhall Mayhem!

The story finally continues exactly where we left off last time as Archie and The Skribble venture deeper into Outpost 7 and run into their first major obstacle: The Cradle.

Updates will continue to be developed of course, and some more major changes will be coming soon. Things to look forward to are:
furniture, a more polished opening sequence, bread, and the next few floors.

Floor 3 shouldn't take as long as Floor 2, I hope. Floor 4 is where the team is admittedly a bit worried about, but we'll see how things go from here!

<< New Enemy >>

+ The Fracturing Tendril
    > HP: 40 | DMG: 2
    > Casts a radius around it that deals Damage over Time
    > If you dash inside the radius, you don't trigger the tendril

"A hazard that makes fighting more difficult with it around"
'A common symptom of Fracturing presence, these tendrils are sometimes considered
    a low class of cradle.'

+ The Fracturing Barrier Tendril
    > HP: 2413 | DMG: 2413
    > Casts a radius around it that instantly kills you
    > If you dash inside the radius, you don't take damage

"A hazard designed to trap archkin within its bounderies"
'A rare symptom of Fracturing presence, something really doesn't want you to leave.
For Archie's own safety, The Skribble makes it impossible for them to step into
    a Barrier Tendril's radius.'

+ The Cradled Marlimech (Boss)
    > HP: 500 | DMG: 7
    > Dashes at you with its archose blade
    > If it reaches a low enough health, it enters the Cradle Switch state
    > During the Cradle Switch, the Archose Cradle surrounds it with a
barrier that attacks anything outside, while slowly healing the Marlimech.

"A warrior primarily designed to hold the front lines of any invasion,
    excells in tight spaces."
'A gift from Marlika to the Avalonian people. It was eventually stolen by
the rebels, and finally hijacked once more by an Archose Cradle in Outpost 7.'

    > HP: ??? | DMG: 3
    > Fires at you three times with Nul Essence
    > Floats around a host as a means of movement
    > Cannot be attacked by Archie nor The Skribble

"A parasite that hijacks arch machines and cariburns to hunt archkin."
'A vicious cradle that goes out of its way to hunt archkin.
To sate its vengance against The Skribbles, it embodies their form and abilities as
a means of mockery and defiance. These little disasters are the most evil and
    violent class of cradle.'

<< Mechanics >>

+ Archose Converters
    > They're used to power certain machines and devices around Outpost 7
    by converting archose to ███████.

> Archose Inputs
    > They're now used to reactivate the Ava Gates in Outpost 7.
    > Functionally, they work exactly the same way as Archose Converters,
outside of a texture and color change. They even use the same code.
Lore-wise, they couldn't be any more different.
    > They come in both wall-mounted and standing variants.

+ Crit Combo Skill!
    > A highly requested feature!
    > Unlocked after completing the first floor
    > When landing a Crit Dash, you build up a combo meter that increases
how much damage your crits deal for and summons an archose blade.
    > Each combo boosts your crit damage by 1, summons another blade, and speeds up its timer.
    > Once the timer resets, the combo returns to 0 and all archose blades fly to the nearest enemy.

+ Melee Aim
    > Another highly-requested QoL feature
    > You can use your mouse to aim your melee attacks.
    > Can be toggled off if you prefer walking towards where your melee attacks would aim.
